Anyone know if a Almera diesel will run on veg oil it's a 2000  2ltr  engine ... Been searching net Camt find any info   :Smiley

Only way to find out is to try it with a small amount of veg. Next time you fill up put a couple of litres of veg in a full tank. If it runs ok, increase the amount by a couple of litres a time.

also check to see if it has a Bosch pump they are normally ok with oil

I'll check pump I'll be servicing it for him soon  Smileythen he can try a bit at a time .... Would it be better to half fill it then add a ltr veg to see ... Then if no good fill with diesel or won't it make much diff  Huh?

try it 20ltrs to one and advance from there if it works
