Oh right phew thought I'd broke it  Grinit was hammering down with rain last wknd on my 1st attempt ... So does the carrier pull out easy ? Or does it need to be kept pushed in ?

Well didn't get chance to have a look yesterday ,went to Brean instead weather was lush ... And have bus a run , it's surprising people come out of woodwork when going out in these buses . Only started with with 3 people and 2 mutts . By Rome we set off there was 6  and 3 mutts  Grin.. On update though the noise seems to be coming from under drivers seat somewhere ... So be checking exhaust 1st ... If that's not problem I'll update and take pic of carrier  Grin. Happy days

Well don't think it's exhaust checked today ... Couldn't get up on ramps today they kept sliding away ... Huh?Looks like getting back under and looking at sads again  Embarrassed...  Do misalignment upset timing ? Now and again sounds  like slight over run ...

it shouldn't do the only way it could happen would be the shaft jamming and stopping the engine from turning. I really cant see that happening.

No engines turning fine  Huh?Starting to puzzle the hell out of me ... Now seams to knock now and again on picking up speed moving off... It's just got to get me through bank hol wknd then I'll get underneath. Runs fine when going ... Don't even notice a difference running 60% veggie  Grin

you need to check out the carrier for the shaft if its not in the right place the whole shaft could be knocking against something also your sads will get worn out real quick

Yeah I'll take the carrier off at back .. Front deffo slotted in .. Iam sure back carrier didn't have any slots ... So plan is just to uncouple back part ... Amd check engine mounts  Grin... Was suppose be going away for wknd but that's canceled because it's going to snow apparently ... So I prob got wknd to tinker about on her  Grin

Yeah 6 bolts 3 with nuts and washers on front carrier and 3  bolts and washers just bolted into the rear carrier ...
