Water and oil mix
« on: February 26, 2012, 03:11:29 PM »

Hi just started work on my bus to check see where oil leak is ... Thought head had blown again . Upon taking the rocker cover off ... The oil and water mixture is the creamist I've seen ... Seams to be more water than oil ...when I last ran the bus it was lumpy to start with then drove ok ... The oil and temp was fine . When I checked oil it's was creamy ... And noticed a bad oil leak ... Any one ideas if is head or anything else easier lol but guessing its not good   Huh?

Its not common for the oil to mix on a cracked head. was a genuine Toyota gasket used where was the head from. first guess would be oil cooler but i think there's another point to the back of the engine where the oil and water could mix but not sure.

Not sure if it was Toyota head gasket set . I got to from car spares  Huh?Just seams quick for them to mix that fast .. On the 1s I've seen blown there didn't seam to be that creamy  Huh?The oil leak looks like it came from rocker cover ... Guess looked worse because of the mixture .. Been told these head don't crack that easy and as it not been run at high temp this time ....  Huh?So head gasket sets of eBay no good then because I put 1 on watch just incase , I get head off ??
