If your bus is the diesel engine then yes it will run on veg. the temperatures are starting to drop so not the best time of year to start.
If its tempting you then browse the supermarkets for good deals £1 is about the best you get but that's still a bit of saving. macros seem to be holding around £20 for 20 ltrs. best bet at the moment would be to run 50 50 diesel and veg and see how you feel also have a look at the rest of alternative fuels section lots too read.

Bookers fluctuate between 20.89 & 20.99 per 20 box of veg... so around 1.05 litre ish.
As Tony mentioned.. 50/50 will get you thru the winter months..
Best to build up the % slowly to give you confidence, so grab a 5 litre bottle next shopping trip and pour that into 1/4 to 1/2 tank of diesel and go from there.
I've been running on 50/50 upto 100% veg for over 3 years and apart from a bit lumpy and smokey on first fire up on cold ornings (normally 3.30am : , Neima runs no different to running on diesel..well apart from the bbq smell behind you...lol

Before you do anything, be aware that veg oil tends to clean out years of accumulated fuel deposits from the tank and fuel lines which can clog the main filter and pump filter - recommend you fit a disposable inline filter in the fuel line from tank to main filter to avoid possible problems here. Also veg oil as supplied is quite a bit thicker than derv which can cause old fuel pump seals to leak, if you premix it with 5-10% unleaded and leave for a week or two before adding to the tank this makes it thinner and less likely to cause leakage.
Don't want to put you off here, just to make you aware of possible issues.

Shame you didn't order a kit at same time as stickers... could've put stickers in with kit and saved on P&P
Never mind, you'll know for next time..

Hi all, I'm thinking of doing the same, running my bus on Veg oil.
What is the best inline fuel to get? and where to get it from?
By the way the 99p shop in the town is selling 1L bottles of veg oil for 99p..

Its said not to get the paper ones get the ones with the plastic gauze, ebay. I have never bothered my self just keep a fuel filter handy not had a problem yet. run veg most of the time.
Normally just the first time you use causes a problem, because it has a tendency to clean out your tank.
