Alloy wheel refurbishment
« on: September 07, 2010, 10:42:43 PM »

Hi All

I've read the previous post regarding alloy wheels and I will follow the greta advice given. Has anyone got any ideas how I can fill the bits on the lip where the wheels have been kerb'd?

Cheers

I don't know if matalicit from plasticoat would work, you would probably need to get a bit welded in and ground down

wouldn't put a blow torch near an ally wheel cos if the wheel turns out to have magnesium in it(MAG ALLOYS) it'll burn out Shocked.I'd sell em on and get a decent set,to be on the safe side.
Or if the bits aren't that deep, spray the rim lip body colour or black Huh?
